The catalogue focuses on the history of badge production in Jablonec nad Nisou in the period 1870-1945. It contains civilian badges, medals and plaques. It also includes a detailed overview of the production of war badges in Jablonec during World War II. It also contains period advertising and promotional materials of the manufacturers, photos from the production, etc. There is also a section of badges of Sudeten German organizations operating in the then Czechoslovakia.
The civilian section has been prepared in cooperation with several collectors in the region, including materials from the North Bohemian Museum in Liberec and the Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou. Photography and graphic works were done by myself. Originally, I produced the catalogue only for my own use, but due to the great interest of the surrounding area, I decided to publish a smaller series for collectors. I hope that you will like the book and that it will broaden your knowledge of what was produced in Jablonec in the years 1870-1945.
