It was a white circular badge, with the inscription REICHARBEITSDIENST on the top and WEIBLICHE JUGEND on the bottom. It was worn on the dress as a buckle below the neck. The motto was "Where you are, the sun shines". The women's camps were looser, with an open regime, in contrast to the men's camps. They worked in agriculture, gardening, planted forests, helped out in the countryside with peasant families if a man was at the front.
