In fairly recent times there is a new children's detector from Bounty Hunter, the Junior Target ID. It is a device designed for children 9-10 years old at most. Still, we have to say that we are quite impressed with how this "toy" works. You can see it for yourself in the video in the article.
I set out to test the new machines in our harsh Nordic conditions. Location Naklerov, dry soil with higher content of ferrous waste and beach of Habrovice pond, sandy and wet subsoil with higher content of beach waste.
I won't beat around the bush for long. The BH Land Ranger Pro is very nice in terms of response. What I like about it is how the response changes with target depth, and gradually and steadily fades, a classic VCO effect, I'm guessing that's not exactly common in this price range. I've been working on a wall polygon mainly in the A mode setting. And that's the one I would recommend and prefer to start with.
