A real treasure was discovered in the cellar of a house in the former Jewish ghetto in Keszthely. It contained 24 jewels and 2,776 rare gold and silver coins. The original owners of this wealth are believed to have died in a concentration camp.

Silver coins from the 13th and 14th centuries were discovered by a tourist near Piešt'any, Slovakia, under an uprooted tree. They were mainly Viennese pfennigs. The depot contained a total of 147 medieval silver coins. The discovery was reported by the Regional Heritage Institute in Trnava.

The rare artefact was discovered three years ago by an unknown finder in the Hradec Králové region. It was an iron axe decorated with silver. Nothing similar had been found in the Czech Republic until then. The axe probably dates back to the Great Moravian period. The finder was rewarded with 60,000 crowns.
