Weekend meeting of detectorists in camp in Chabařovice

This weekend the detectorists gathered at the traditional weekend meeting in the camp in Chabařovice. It was a great opportunity to meet friends, share experiences and spend time together in a pleasant environment.

Friday: Archaeology and Tombola

On Friday evening the reunion started with a lecture by an archaeologist who presented the latest findings and discoveries in the field of archaeology. Unfortunately, the pyrotechnicians who were due to arrive were unable to make it due to an unexpected trip. However, this did not stop the participants from enjoying the evening. The lecture was followed by the traditional raffle, which included attractive prizes.

Saturday.

On Saturday morning, we gathered at the prepared polygon where training in the use of the detectors of the brand Minelab took place. Everyone learned a lot of useful information and tips on how to use the detector effectively in searches. After the training a goulash was served, prepared by Zipsy.

The afternoon belonged to competitions, which were started by the children. They searched for pirate gold and silver treasure. Then there was a tracking contest, a pond search, fire making and the competitions ended with archery. Each game had its winners who took home valuable prizes. In the evening there was a bonfire at which we sang until dawn.

Sunday: Packing and Farewell

Sunday mornings are hell. Everyone is slowly packing their things and not wanting to go home.
