New utility locators C.Scope

C.Scope is the clear European leader in utility detection and tracing. The company not only produces high quality locators, but above all relies on continuous development. It then usually resells its older technologies, which are then found in other brands. C.Scope In addition, it produces a number of components for other locator manufacturers, which only adds to the company's huge dominance in the industry. C.Scope has a long-standing relationship with the largest companies that deal with water distribution or manage electrical networks. If I had to name one of the most important, it would be London Water and Sewerage, who are also partly involved in the testing.

As with hobby detectors, utility locators C.Scope rely on maximum ease of use, literally extreme durability and the best technology. It's not without interest that during our visit to C.Scope we also saw 25 year old instruments on the calibration bench that are still reliably serving their owners.

At the end of March, C.Scope came out with a new line of XL locators simply labeled 2. The company now produces locators MXL2, DXL2 a CXL2 and MXT2, SGV2 and SGA2 signal generators. Among many other improvements, the new series brings a technological breakthrough by using dual operating frequencies of 33 kHz and 131 kHz. This will be most evident in the detection of sheathed fibre optic cables, but all other types of networks will now be detected even better and at greater distances.
