At first glance, it's still the same box, but the major changes have been in the electronics. First of all, there have been significant changes to the motherboard. The SE is now fitted with a new generation of Etrim™ operational amplifiers with EMI/RFI filtered inputs. The signal-to-noise ratio is now much better, so that even the maximum settings can be used in good conditions.
This of course means that the detector gets deeper. The separation properties of the detectors have also advanced significantly. The speed is now basically the same as the classic GM4, so there is really something to be said for that.
Then another depth bonus is the use of the power box feature, which adds another 10% to the range and even when using it with a fully charged detector, you can run for about 10 to 12 hours.
When using the Power Box / Low Level mode, the GM5+ SE can work very well even in extremely mineralized soils. In addition, thanks to the new I volume (iron volume) function, you are able to adjust the iron volume level, which makes working in such conditions easier and brings the bonus of a certain comfort.
The GM5+ SE still uses the two working frequencies of 8 and 18 kHz as we were used to from previous models (GM5 and GM5+) and all probes designed for the GM5, GM5+, GM4PRO WD, GM4PRO and LP ZERO detectors are compatible with the GM5+ SE.

What makes the detector special?
Depth discrimination - this feature allows you to set discrimination for deeply buried objects where you can determine its sharpness.
Audio settings for iron - you can set the level where the iron tone should be heard (to what ID) and also how loud the iron should be.
Automatic GB setting - this feature has improved greatly over the original version and both manual and automatic modes now get the same numbers.
Wireless headphones included - the detector includes both the wireless transmitter and WS106 headphones. The latter are already field-proven, lag-free and of high quality.
Two workingfrequencies - GMko is one of the few manufacturers to use multiple frequencies in one device.
Depth and speed of recovery after receiving the target - this is the thing that decorates GM metal detectors and also attracted most fans to this brand. GM now has digital that basically outperforms their analog instruments and that's a big shift.
TheGolden Mask is a recognized brand among prospectors for analog detectors and it has a huge fan base. The new version of the GM5+ SE significantly advances the company in the digital detector field as well. It is a question of where GM have moved with evaluation and LCD. The detector is going to need some serious work. Still, this is another step forward for this smaller but likeable company.

Equinox je rolls royce mezi detíkama, tomu se těžko něco vyrovná v následujících 5 letech 
Jako mám noxe 800. ale zase nevěřím že nejsou detíky co můžou na nabídnout zase něco jiného co třeba nox nemá. to může být u výběru rozhodující. 
No myslím že i přesto že se tenhle detík mohl povést,tak prodeje budou nic moc,poněvadž většinu trhu opravdu zabral Equinox a veškerá konkurence si myslím,z něj má vrásky.

Chtělo by to nějakej testík v terénu.
Bez testu GM 5ky+SE je to o ničem.Měl jsem Všechny verze a posledni je opravdu povedena.Škoda,že se po Eq nějak pozapomenulo na ostatní a test a postřehy z terénu na GM5ku plusko vubec nejsou.Slibovalo se že budou a nic 
Já si taky myslím, že EQ není Rolls, ostatně já bych Rollsem jezdit nechtěl :). Jsou tady uplně jiná auta, ke kterým bych ho přirovnal a bylo by to podsatně trefnější :)
To Sison: test tady chtěl dělat jeden hledač, to že se do něho nakonec nepustil je škoda, ale to je prostě život. Bude tady jeden předváděcí kus a pokud by jsi se chtěl do testu pustit, napiš na klub@lovecpokladu.cz. Určitě se dá dohodnout vše. Ono nachodit pořádně nějaký detektor prostě vezmě několik měsíců. Mimo EQ nás čeká test nové Nokty, která se přiřítí na konci léta. Je toho prostě moc :)
Panove. S Rollsem se nejezdi. Rollsem se nechava vozit...
Tímto se nechci nikoho dotknout, ale pamatuji si ještě a není to tak dávno, jak se tady vynášel do nebes a také testoval původní GM5. Po krátkém čase se však zjistilo, že je to docela průšvih a pak vznikl GM5plus. Jenže o něm ani slovo.Taky nic moc... A najednou je tady o dost vylepšený GM5+SE a já se ptám, to opravdu nikomu tady nestojí zato napravit reputaci tohoto detektoru?
Našel jsem dvě hodně zajímavé videa které ukazují, že by tento detektor mohl být konečně "to pravé" .
Proto se divím, že nemáte zájem testovat tento detektor. Napadají mě jen dvě věci. Za prvé: je tak dobrý, že by snad mohl ohrozit prodeje jinných detektorů do kterých se investovalo ( reklama, předobjednávky...atd..)
Anebo druhá varianta: Víme, že to není žádný zázrak, tak raději to potichu přejdeme. O tom ale pochybuji, s firmu GM máte dobré vztahy a zkušenosti a určitě víte jak si vede....
Je to docela škoda. Pokud si dobře pamatuji tak největší boom tady byl kolem GM5 a Nokty Impact, ale pak vše utichlo kvůli Noxu. Já se tedy přimlouvám a určitě nejsem sám za testování nové GM5+SE.

Pokki je to bohužel tak. 
Kamarád si ji koupil a myslím že je to fakt dobrý stroj. má pár much ale to každý detektor za mě palec hore.
GM5+ i starší GM5 jsem testoval. Ke GM5 jsem napsal i recenzi. Bohužel u pluska jsem chodil jen zjara loni a i přesto s ním nachodil asi 100 hodin, jenže prakticky všechna videa, která ke gm5+ mám, jsou nepoužitelná. Jedná se o videa se záběrem na displej tak, aby byl vidět graf signálu přímo v reálu, v různý půdě, za různého počasí, žádný fejky. To jsem chtěl posléze analyzovat a výsledky psát do tabulek. Věnoval jsem tomu dost času a speciálně pro ty účely koupil akční kamerku. Jenže ten displej nakonec vidět ve videích není z důvodů, které jsem nemohl ovlivnit. Tak jsem to chtěl přetočit v létě za lepších podmínek, ale to už jsem trpěl následky úrazu břicha a chodit s detektorem nemohl. Přesto jsem se v průběhu času snažil předat v diskusích i v soukromých zprávách tazatelům informace, které je zajímaly.
Závěry z testů GM5+ jsem prezentoval několikrát. Shrnu hlavní: Ano, je rychlý, na droboť hluboký (měl jsem spider 23) a graf velmi spolehlivý. Dokonce i na rušení trpěl méně, než starší verze GM, mohl jsem i k ohradníkům cca na 30, někdy i v těsné blízkosti, aniž by se to výrazně projevilo a nešlo hledat. Čediče mu nechutnaly, to je ale dost náročná disciplína pro všechny VLF detektory. Trochu mě zklamala výdrž baterie oproti původní GM5, ale ta prý byla nahrazena výkonnějšími články. Ve své (nejen) cenové kategorii to byl v roce 2017 pecka stroj, který tehdy asi neměl moc konkurence.
