Minelab tour in Mníšek was with double rainbow

The first round of this year's Zipsy Minelab tour 2023 took place in Mníšek u Liberce on Saturday 25 March 2022. Although the weather was not in our favor at all, the event was full and it was held in the style of ,, quickly to the polygon and quickly under the tent" :-D .

In advance I must thank everyone involved very much for coming and not leaving me alone. I had prepared a polygon with different sized targets buried at different depths so that everyone could test what their detector could see and how much it was passing over during the search. There was also a competition for a new Minelab X Terra Pro metal detector and at the end there was a draw for a Minelab Pro Find 15.

About the detectors

Most had their detectors set well, but there were a few individuals who left the iron tone on the Equinox set to +2. This is in the factory settings for Field Mode 2. You need to adjust this setting, otherwise the non-ferrous metals that are reported in ID 1 and 2 are reported with the tone for iron. The way to do this is to long hold the cog in the discrimination setting, this will take you to a sub-setting and there minus the dice from +2 to 0. In ID 1 and 2, gold chains and smaller gold earrings are reported. It's a shame to leave it in the ground :-)

Congratulations to the winner

Olda Spevacek won the Minelab X Terra Pro in the separation contest and at the end he was drawn from the pool and got the Pro Find 15 as well, that's called incredible luck, congratulations.
