Koukám, jak neuvěřitelně velký rozsah máš.
Včera Římani na Jižní Moravě a dnes Jižní Čechy a Keltové.
Potloukal jsem se dnes kolem Prácheňského muzea.
Něco mě tam táhlo a já nevěděl co, snad nějaký nový pohyb brakteátů. Koukal jsem i na vývěsní štít a nové pozvánky a o této akci tam není ani zmínka. Jsi evidentně rychlejší

Powder Museum in Písek
The biggest exhibition event of the Písek Museum this summer season will present the latest archaeological findings from the Older Iron Age (800 BC). AD to the turn of the century). The objects will be set in the everyday life of the inhabitants of that time, and emphasis will also be placed on their symbolic meaning. The exhibition will be full of small archaeological stories, while visitors will also get a glimpse under the hood of archaeologists and understand the methods of contemporary multidisciplinary research.
The Celtic period represents a civilisational upheaval associated with a number of advances - in particular, the processing of iron and glass, the development ofThe Celts also elevated other crafts, such as pottery and amber, to a much higher level. The connection of our lands to the Mediterranean was also crucial. Some of the Celtic centres of power were also established in Písek, as evidenced by the finds from the mounds at Hradiště u Písku, Nevězicích and, most recently, Tálín. It is likely that the development of alluvial gold mining, which also became an important export commodity, contributed to the location of this centre.
In keeping with contemporary approaches, the exhibition will use modern technology and an English version of the exhibition texts will be created using QR codes placed in the exhibition. The exhibition Celts in Písek will present the Písek region as an important Central European area in the development of the Iron Age.
