The military camp next to the Louka Monastery will evoke the atmosphere of 1809.
On Friday, 5 July 2024 at 9.30 p.m., the soldiers will take part in a commemorative act at the Louka Cemetery.
On Saturday, 6 July 2024 at 2 p.m., the traditional reconstruction of the battle in Dobšice will take place.
The armies will march after 11.00 a.m. to the area of the forest park near Dobšice. Here the preparations for the battle will take place and then at 2 p.m. the battle clash will take place. It will introduce our hero Jan Prokes and his friend and fellow soldiers. You will experience first-hand a small part of his military life, his feelings, thoughts...
Access to the battle is possible for both pedestrians and cars. Cars will be parked on the paved area next to the forest park. There is no charge to enter the battle area, but please respect the instructions of the event organizers. The battle demonstration will last approximately 40 minutes and will end with a small battle clash in the river.
