Follow in the footsteps of our ancestors and visit archaeological sites in your area with us! What can be read from the terrain relics of medieval hillforts or prehistoric mounds? Do you want to learn how mining was carried out in the Middle Ages or see the oldest cave paintings in the Czech Republic? On all expeditions you will be accompanied by experienced archaeologists, who will transport you to the times long gone...
The Archaeological Institutes of the CAS in Prague and Brno in cooperation with other archaeological departments have prepared a series of guided tours of selected archaeological sites. The tours will be provided by experts who will give you a glimpse of what the work of an archaeologist entails and what is really hidden in the ground at well-known and somewhat forgotten sites.
We look forward to seeing you at hillforts, cairns or a vanished medieval village!
