Joint club search 23.6.07

So this time it was a search almost on the home field. Even though the surroundings of Jílové are well-trodden, since the planned expedition to the buried silverof the Thirty Years' War didn't take place (the field is full of wheat), it was necessary to once again search the surroundings of the native grave.

I even managed to find out some new information and so there was at least a small spark of hope. Personally, I have no find worth mentioning from the vicinity of Jílové, and this time I refrained from any significant success. Only a golden signal on a small (probably) earring gave me a little encouragement. But as it happens, it was just some alloy. Unfortunately, the others didn't fare any better either and so today's catch is rare for "precious" metals.

Every time I go home from the fields here I think of the words of the royal chamberlain about the most wretched village in the whole kingdom.
The miners just didn't have the money and if they happened to stumble across it, they probably had it down their throats before any of the wheels could wander :)

It is also true that there is no honey in the local stony fields full of outcropped rock.
