We were actually brought to testing by a friend who was kind of "crying" that it just wasn't working out articles about beginner detectors and when they do come out, it's in the "professional detector for little money" style. He himself bought a GoFind 40 for the "young" guy, but he confiscated it and has been troubling it himself for a few months now. and even though he uses a number of professional instruments, he was thrilled with the GoFind in relation to the price of the detector.

If you are one of the meticulous ones, using xChange2 to record your findings. You may find it useful to use a simple application to sort collections in xChange2, export to KML and KMZ including FindPoints and photos. KML and KMZ files can be opened directly in Google Earth, but many other applications can be used.
