A double aureus from the joint reign of Emperor Volusian and his father Trebonianus Gallus was discovered in Kaposvár, Hungary. Their reign lasted less than two years, so coins of this period are very rare. Volusian gold coins are among the rarest, double gold coins are extremely rare. This is the first such find in Hungary.
